The Basement Sentry #507 is a 12 Volt backup sump pump system that you can add to your regular

sump pump system to protect against power outages. When the power goes out, the Basement

Sentry takes over to keep the sump dry. If your regular sump pump fails, the Basement Sentry will

start working to prevent a problem caused by a high water condition. The model #507 is a 12V – 12

amp pump capable of pumping 23 gpm at 5 feet of head, or 12.5 gpm at 10 feet of head. The

control box has burn out and overcharge protection, along with a 10 amp battery charger. The solid

state control has lights to indicate power supply on, battery partially charged, battery fully charged,

pump alarm off and a run light. An alarm will emit a continuous beep when the battery is low.

System comes with the check valve, float switch, and fittings to install in to your current sump

pump system.

Zoeller’s HOME GUARD MAX is a water powered backup sump pump system. Plumbed into

your water line, and controlled by a rigid float, the Home Guard Max stands ready to take over for

your regular sump pump in high water conditions, or when power is lost. There is no water used

until the unit is needed. Then 1 gallon of water will pump 2 gallons of water from your pump basin.

Pictured to the lower left is a drawing of a typical installation. The Home Guard is installed in the

basin along side the regular sump pump. The discharge line is brought through the lid and into a

separate discharge line. When the water in the sump rises to a level that lifts the float, the valve

opens to allow water to flow, which starts to pump from the sump.

The AquaNot Flood Alert Alarm is a simple battery operated

warning alarm that mounts on the wall with the sensor cord that

hangs to just above the floor. When water contacts the 2 sensor

points, the alarm is set off.
