Beach Resort at Turtle Rock is located in sunny Gold Beach, Oregon on the Southern Oregon Coast 35 miles north of the California border. Things are different in Gold Beach. Our rush hour is a jet boat ride on Jerry???s Rogue Jets and the Mail Boats on the Rogue River. Our locals may be a magnificent eagle skimming the water or a bear on the shores of the Rogue River eating blackberries. Our backyard is the beach, and the forest is our suburbs. It???s uncrowded, unhurried, and the banana belt of the Oregon coast with more clear skies and comfortable temperatures than the northern Oregon coast.
Beach Resort at Turtle Rock offers both cottage vacation rentals and RV site rentals
with views of Hunter Creek and the ocean or a forested hillside covered with ferns.
It???s a three to five minute walk to the miles of beach from anywhere in the resort.
Each cottage includes everything you need for a pleasant beach vacation. All you need to bring is your clothes, food, and the ability to leave it all behind and watch the playful otters, graceful herons, and spectacular sunsets from your cottage window, soothed by the sound of the surf. A bedroom downstairs with a king or queen bed, a sleeping loft and an extra queen or double bed with plush, comfortable bedding is perfect for a family vacation, family reunion, or a romantic getaway. The vacation cottages have private spas on the decks, fully equipped kitchens, linens, TV, DVD players, some fireplaces and 42??? TVs. There are pet friendly and pet free cabins.
We also offer complimentary morning yoga classes, wifi, and a book exchange. Add a massage from our on site masseuse to our ocean fresh air and gorgeous sunsets for a perfect stay.
Our inviting RV sites are big rig friendly, full hook up, with freeWifi, TV. Choose a water or forest view, pull through or back in on our 22 acres on the banks of Hunter Creek as it flows to the Pacific Ocean. Turtle Rock is pet friendly, dogs love to walk the miles of beaches minutes from your site.
Beach Resort at Turtle Rock recently completed a beautiful group facility available to guests at no charge. A large stone fireplace compliments the pine wainscoting and ceilings for a mellow atmosphere that can accommodate up to 80 people. Great for groups, family reunions, parties, business meetings, it includes two kitchens, deck with BBQ, and patio with fire ring.
Recreation in the Gold Beach area is abundant. Bike trails, hiking trails, wild life watching, bird watching, jet boat rides, redwoods, museums. Go kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, whale watching, crabbing, golfing, agate hunting, beach walking, kite flying, shopping, horseback riding, paddling, clamming, storm watching.
