Business Development Conference - July 24- July 27
Latest news from Cambridge Capital Fund, LLC
07/30/2008
The most important thing learned during the conference is that, your Net Worth is equal to your Network. As a result, Cambridge will soon be launching a business networking group here in Utah.
Here is a wonderful statement of recap from David Gass, President and Founder of BCS, the sponsor of the event:
Thank you to all of those who attended our sold out event this weekend. The Success Steps to Business Success Seminar was our best yet. Over 100 entrepreneurs and investors attended the four day conference in Las Vegas.
We had angel investors that shared their experiences and consulted one-on-one with the attendees, not to mention two companies that granted guaranteed credit lines to the audience just for showing up. The speakers included Greg DeVries, Managing Director of BTB Capital who shared with everyone the ins and outs of factoring; Mark Del Guercio, President of Advanced Planning Advisory Group discussed his experience with group real estate buying (how to buy millions of dollars in real estate without using any of your own money and taking part of the deal) and using self-directed retirement plans to invest. Robert Davenport, Managing Director of the Davenport Group wowed the audience with the latest asset protection strategies. Matt Swan, CPA provided an entertaining look at how to get the best deductions for your business life. Chris Yates, President of Business Marketing Services shared with everyone the best strategies for taking and promoting your business online.
Certainly the highlight guest speaker was Scott Fritz, Angel Investor and Growth Coach. Scott not only shared with the audience about what angel investing is, how it works, how to present your company to angel investors and where to find them, but he also provided a rare look at how he took a company from an idea to a $160 million dollar business and his exit from that business. It was experience and insight most entrepreneurs pay tens of thousands of dollars to receive.
In addition members of the BCS team, David Francis, Joel Blakely, Mylinda Montroy, Reed Blake and myself provided the insider secrets to raising capital, building business credit, getting into compliance and finding money for your business.
We all had a great time. Again, thanks to everyone who attended. If you would like to participate in future events keep a look out in our future emails for announcements soon. In addition, if you would like to see and hear what took place at this years event you just may have the opportunity. We will be coming out soon with our “Best of Success Steps to Business Success in Vegas” series in just a few weeks. You will have the opportunity to get access to all the best speakers and content from each of our last four years of seminars and events. Keep reading the blogs and watching our email announcements of when you will have the opportunity to get access to this invaluable information.
