I am LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPIST and am BOARD CERTIFIED IN PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING. I specialize in helping adults and adolescents resolve their difficulties in a relatively brief amount of time. I focus on helping you find solutions to your problems, understand yourself and others better, improve relationships, and feel good about your life. I began my counseling career over 15 years ago as a volunteer counselor for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Since then, I have developed specialties in treating substance, depression/mood disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, divorce transition, and work-related stress.I also specialize in working with adolescents who are experiencing emotional/behavioral difficulties. I have a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, a second Master's in Psychology, and a Certificate in Women's Studies. Additionally, I have completed four years of Doctoral training in Social and Personality Psychology.My office is comfortable and conveniently located.
