CLA's institutional projects have included primary care work, school projects and art galleries.Among our clients are the World Bank, the Federal Government, the World Monuments Fund, the City of New York,,New York University, and the United Nations. Our residential work extends from custom houses to new apartment buildings, from apartment renovations to apartment building restorations. Besides our general architectural practice, we have developed expertise in specialized areas.Urban planning is an extension of our analysis of the impact of architecture on cities.Our office is among New York’s most experienced firms in elevator modernization projects. Our elevator work includes the US Embassy in Rome, New York’s Courts and many private clients.We are leaders in building restoration and modernization. In New York we have been bringing older buildings into a new era of use and value by restoring their elevator systems, exteriors, electrical/mechanical systems and public spaces.
