Copper Oar is a river rafting and adventure travel company based in McCarthy, the heart of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and the largest preserved wilderness area on earth. We are local experts on the glacial rivers that traverse through this "mountain kingdom", namely the mighty Copper River and its upstream tributaries, the Chitina, Nizina and Kennicott Rivers.
