I am Cynthia Fox, a native St. Louisan and graduate of Washington University Law School, Class of ’73. For over 25 years, I have specialized in the practice of family law, with a particular emphasis on matters relating to the dissolution of marriage.
Presumably, you have come here to learn more about me and/or issues relating to divorce and I have worked hard to provide information that will be both helpful and informative.
Importantly, I want you to know that I have been where you are now and I understand the pain, stress and uncertainty you are experiencing. Several years ago I went through a difficult and contentious divorce and child custody battle with my ex-husband, and I have traveled this same path with clients hundreds of time.
These experiences have led me to reshape my approach to the practice of divorce law, which I call The ConstructiveDivorce®. The goal is to help my clients end the fighting and focus on the future, while also vigorously representing their interests, but without the combativeness of the traditional approach. The intended result is that my clients are able to move onto the next stage of their life feeling whole and with their financial and emotional resources intact, and their family relationships preserved.
In addition, since 1996, I have worked as a court-approved mediator assisting couples reach equitable and constructive resolutions to family law issues, such as divorce, child custody, child support and paternity.
So, whether you are just starting to think about the possibility of ending your marriage, have already decided to seek a divorce (or your spouse has made that decision), or you want to revisit issues from a prior divorce (such as child custody or support), please spend some time here learning more. And, by all means, please don’t hesitate to contact me, by telephone or email, to set up an appointment so that we can discuss your situation in person.
