About Family Therapy Training Institute of Miami

The Family Therapy Training Institute of Miami (FTTIM) is dedicated to helping at-risk children & adolescents and their families through the evidence based practices: Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) and Family Effectiveness Training (FET). The Family Therapy Training Institute of Miami provides training leading to certification in both of these award-winning therapy models.  The mission of FTTIM is to deliver the best Brief Strategic Family Therapy and Family Effectiveness Training to the behavioral health community by employing the largest staff of Master Trainers, and by providing training in Spanish & French as well as English.  FTTIM was founded by Olga Hervis, the co-developer of both BSFT and FET, who has been teaching, consulting, and practicing in both programs over 30 years. FTTIM serves clients--clinicians, therapists, for-profit & for non-profit agencies--- in over 25 states.
