Global Telecom Brokers (GTB) is one of the oldest Maryland-based telephone providers.
Established in 1992 as an agent of telecommunication services, the company began by helping Maryland businesses reduce their long distance call expense. In 1996, GTB was licensed as a Competitive Local Exchange Provider (CLEC) and changed the scope of its operations to include the reselling of discounted phone service products of the legacy local phone companies.
In 2003, GTB deployed a privately managed network throughout the state of Maryland. All network points were equipped with the latest communication equipment using Voice Over Broadband technology and designed it to service Small to Mid-Size businesses exclusively. The new technology eliminated the need for businesses to run separate services for voice and data.
GTB’s products bundle digital quality voice, high speed Internet access and managed network and security services. In addition, businesses get flexible calling options, expanded calling areas, a rich selection of digital features and top of the line Internet and network services.
