Jari Poulin's images reveal the poetry, irony, and compelling beauty of subjects that are often forgotten, discarded or ignored. Her work is highly textural and colorful with a masterful eye for composition and design. Jari's photographs are often mistaken for paintings because of their richness and depth. Her work has frequently been described as "painterly" by painters, sculptors and photographers throughout the art world who admire her unique vision and ability to render awe from the mundane.Her fine art images are available in her online gallery. Additionally, Jari teaches workshops in Mexico and is available for workshops and seminars in the US and abroad. Jari's photographs have been exhibited in a number of galleries and exhibitions and is in private collections throughout the US. She currently resides in the Boston area with frequent working trips to Mexico, New Mexico and the Southwest in search of new images. Jari is available for select creative photography projects.
