Dr. Joseph Wilson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Joseph Wilson performed an additional 18 months of subspecialty training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder surgery. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where we was an assistant team physician for Depaul University’s Division I Men’s and Women’s basketball teams, the Chicago White Sox, and the Chicago Bulls.
Dr. Wilson then completed the ALPS Surgery Institute International Shoulder Fellowship in Annecy, France, with Dr. Laurent Lafosse, considered by many to be one of the premier arthroscopic shoulder surgeons in the world.
