Building Water Injection Valves

The plumbing and contact pins are aligned and ready to have the electronics attached.

Although its not shown here, the PC board fits on top of this. The contact pins and connections to the solenoid valve pass through the PC board and are soldered in place at this point.

For this product, I'm having the PC boards made to order. It turned out a lot cheaper to buy them finished than make them myself. Less trouble too.

The Banderlog Diverter Power relay

Jet boat hydraulic diverter systems draw their power for running the hydraulic pump from the battery through the ignition and the trim switches. It also works with the switch systems that incorporate diodes to rout the power to the correct wires. Just mount the Power Relay near the trim pump where it plugs into the trim switch wiring harness. These switches are typically mounted at the far end of the boat from the trim pump.

The Banderlog Water Injection Valve History

He had this nifty little switch that shut off the water to his headers when he wanted to race someone. It all started one day when I was getting a ride in Keith Zellmer's old Eliminator Daytona lake boat. These guys risked blue headers, hydro locked engines and who knows what else to test valves. If I could hook that switch of Keith's to something that would read the RPM of the engine.

The Banderlog HEI Siganl Converter

If you hook a 12 Volt panel light one side the Tach output and the other to 12 Volts, it should blink whenever the engine fires a cylinder. Basically the converter transforms the Tach signal from a GM HEI distributor into a 12 volt square wave. If you plan on running a with a GM HEI distributor, you must use one of these. When the ignition is doing anything else.

Full throttle switches

This kit also includes a mounting bracket that fits most four barrel Holley carburetors. The bracket incorporates a rubber grommet for routing the switch wire. The Standard Holley Kit contains the same parts as the Basic Kit.
