Vintage Series – Six Position:
This is the easiest and
least expensive to install though it requires opening a window or door to
connect the power cord and then you need to reposition six individual switches.
The transfer switch is a 30 amp six circuit position device (model 30216V),
having four (4) 15 amp circuit positions and two (2) 20 amp circuit positions
(which may be left as provided to provide for a 20 amp double
pull breaker). Also included is a 20 foot power cord having L14-30
male/female ends to plug directly between generator and transfer switch.

PowerStay Series – Six to Sixteen Position:
This option is more aesthetically attractive and allow you to keep the doors and
windows closed as there is a customer/installer provided wiring between the
transfer switch and a power inlet box that is mounted outside. Operation only
requires a single pull to switch between the utility main and the generator main
at the top of the switch. The transfer switch is a 30 amp six circuit position
(expandable to sixteen position) device (model 301660), having two (2) 15 amp
circuit positions and four (4) 20 amp circuit positions (two of which are used
with a double pull breaker). It ships with a 30 amp rated power inlet box and a
10 foot power cord
having L14-30 male/female ends to plug
directly between your generator and
power inlet box.
