Richmond Sanitary Service is a subsidiary of Republic Services, Inc. Republic Services, Inc. was awarded the exclusive franchise to collect garbage and recyclables in the City of Piedmont in 2000. In 2001, Republic Services acquired Richmond Sanitary Service. We are the same people, the same family of companies that has been providing excellent service to our customers in Piedmont for the past 6½ years. In December of 2007, Richmond Sanitary Service was awarded a ten year contract. We look forward to servicing the Piedmonter’s for the next ten years
