River-Aire is proud to provide the local community with a family friendly
aquatic environment which everyone can enjoy during the summer break. It's not a
big pool, but it's a fun pool. Like other swim clubs in the area River-Aire has
a swim program which includes the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim courses as
well as the River-Aire Rockets, our very own swim team. With experienced and
certified swim instructors and coaches, your child can learn basic swimming and
safety skills or even become the fastest backstroke swimmer on the block.
Safety is also a prime concern at River-Aire. Provided for the safety of
our patrons are American Red Cross certified lifeguards. These guards are some
of the better prepared life-savers in the area, as they attend regular
in-service training and are tested in real-life conditions with safety drills
held during the open hours.
As mentioned above, River-Aire is a fun pool. Being in such a small
neighborhood makes it easy for the employees to get to know the pool members.
Through the summer, everyone gets to know everyone else, making River-Aire a
small community of kids who love to swim and people who like to hang out,
poolside. Every year, River-Aire holds the Luau, a Hawaiian themed pool
party.
River-Aire Swim Club is a great place to bring the family, learn to swim,
and just hang out during the summer months. If you live in the Godfrey area and
