Building on his 25 years of general surgery experience and 17 years of laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Althar is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Althar is also a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric surgery and has been performing weight loss surgery since 2002.Dr. Althar’s affiliations give him the ability to provide enhanced care and high quality treatment for his patients.
