There are 1,000 miles of shoreline on Bull Shoals Lake, which was created by the construction of the Bull Shoals Dam on the the world renowned White River, the Trout Fishing Capital of Arkansas, and just a a mile from Rocky Hollow Lodge.
Fisherman can take advantage of the many species of fish available in both warm and cold water. Bring your bass boat and catch lunker bass and walleye on a hot summer day then spend the evening cooling off on the river angling trophy rainbow, cuthroat or huge german brown from the colder waters of the White River.
Arkansas waters are known for producing world-record sized fish, and uncrowded, unhurried atmosphere.
So many lakes, streams, and public lands exist within the Arkansas borders that sportfishing and hunting is naturally of huge interest to vacationers.
While your in the Ozarks, stay with us and relax in the comfort of a spacious three-bedroom lodge, or choose one of six unique Ozark style cabins with all the modern amenities including satellite TV, and wireless Internet service.
The Main Lodge has 2000 sq ft with a large dining area for big family meals, a full kitchen w/electric range and plenty of cupboard and countertop space. The lodge also offers a big screen TV and wood burning stove.
All our cottages offer two bedrooms with a full bath, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and a comfortably furnished dining/living area complete with remote control color TV.
We also provide outdoor seating, bbq, firepit and free firewood!
With over 72,100 acres of water surface at high level, surrounded by over 2 million acres of wilderness, the Ozark Mountains and Bull Shoals Lake have room enough for everyone!
