This energy is generated without producing greenhouse gases.
Benefits of the TWAIN Technology Lighting System
5-Day Autonomy Each unit powers its battery reserve through wind turbine- and solar panel-based innovations. When fully charged, the light can deliver full illumination for up to 120 hours (5 days).
Advanced Microprocessor TWAIN Technology delivers an impressive efficiency factor of 98%. This technology charges the battery reserve in sunny, cloudy and windy conditions. The charge control system pulls 30% more amps from the solar panel for faster charging when compared to other solar controls.
Batteries Our batteries are AGM deep cycle featuring high-density plate technology. Each battery is 100% recyclable, sealed and valve regulated (VR) requiring no water or maintenance.
Battery Box Options Our battery vault can be placed anywhere on the street light pole but we recommend underground placement when possible. Doing so creates natural insulation and prolongs battery life.
Ultra Low Maintenance Conventional street lights use bulbs comprised of heavy metals that require replacement, on average, every two years. This takes time and increases landfill waste. The TWAIN Street Light headlamp uses LED bulbs which are rated to last more than 20 years, requiring no maintenance.
