G type elevators are conventional center latch
taper type elevators for handling drill pipe.
There are 5 types
ranging from 100 to 500 ton capacity and covering pipe sizes from 23/8"
to
65/8" OD. The BNC and modified G type elevators use a special wear
bushing for use with TDS.
