Keywords: Prophylactic Treatment

We offer regular cleanings as well as deep cleanings, called scaling and root planing, based on the recommendation of the dentist. The American Dental Association recommends that every patient receive a prophylactic treatment(cleaning) at least every six months. However, there are circumstances in which cleanings may be recommended every three to four months.
