New Non-Dues Revenue Study: Share Your Expertise So Others Can Learn
Non dues revenue for associations, association survey, non-dues revenue survey,
A new study is capturing the stories and strategies behind what association leaders are doing to innovate and generate income within their organizations.
This new report, Non-Dues Revenue Horizons: 2016 - Insights on Association and Nonprofit Plans for Revenue Growth, seeks to understand what senior and C-level nonprofit executives and association leaders with responsibility for non-dues revenue (NDR) are doing to generate these streams of income in order to share this wisdom with the greater association community.
RevvCrew is working with professionals from Association Insights, a well-known, provider of market research in the nonprofit and association space, to administer this interview-based study, which asks two key questions:
1. Are you planning to increase revenues for FY 2016?
2. If so, what specific steps are you taking to grow these revenues?
The survey will explore some specific tactics leaders are taking to innovate, generate and otherwise enhance income within their organization.
Goals for the study include the following:
SHARE STORIES. Since storytelling is an effective way to share, this report will showcase what nonprofits and associations are doing to innovate/grow and otherwise implement to grow NDR.
FILL A VOID. There are some studies that share operating ratios, based on organizational 990s, that offer benchmark data of how much NDR is being generated by organizations. However, the data is not offered with context about how NDR is being raised, captured, etc., so that others can benefit by understanding the how. This study will help fill that gap.
DISSEMINATE REAL WORLD EXAMPLES; CREATE CONVERSATIONS. As former association execs, RevvCrew's team understands that association and nonprofit leaders can learn from each other. Therefore, this research will shared in conference presentations, on social media, along with articles and blogs targeted to association and nonprofit communities.
HIGHLIGHT EXPERTS. Finally, the folks who are interviewed will demonstrate their subject matter expertise within the sector, providing them with exposure as innovators among their colleagues.
Findings will be available early in 2016, and all study participants will receive a complimentary copy of the study.
