I enjoy transforming smiles, whether it is a minor intervention or a complete smile makeover. One of my favorite quotes is from the movie Annie: “You’re never fully dressed without a smile.”
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY before moving to New Jersey for high school and college. I received a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Rutgers University. My interest in dentistry came from my early interest in the biological sciences and my desire to work with my hands. I enjoy learning new techniques and acquiring the latest technologies to best serve my patients.
I obtained my dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After dental school, I joined the U.S. Air Force. There, I reached the rank of captain and completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington DC. During my three years of active duty, I received extensive training in oral surgery and forensic dentistry.
After my Air Force years, I started the Harmony Dental Group with Dr. Faber from scratch, with the belief that if you build a clean and modern facility and treat people the way you would want to be treated, then success would be inevitable.
I am a current resident of Southport, CT. In my spare time, I enjoy bike riding with my wife Diana and my two kids. My other hobbies and interests include playing racquetball, traveling, and watching my kids play sports.

My ultimate career goal is to truly enjoy what I do on a daily basis, but only if I can improve the lives of my patients. I think for a dentist to be great, he or she must love the day-to-day. What sets me and our practice apart is that I treat patients, not teeth.
For over a decade as a practicing dentist, I have consistently advanced my knowledge in the field in the latest techniques, knowledge, and technology. After graduating from Lehigh University followed by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers Dental School, I completed a general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. These nine years were not the end of my education, but just the beginning, a springboard leading to continuing education in all aspects of oral health and patient experience.
In 2005, I, along with my good friend and colleague Dr. Richard Malek, started the Harmony Dental Group. From the start, we formed the practice in friendship and teamwork, and have thoroughly enjoyed spreading that positivity to our patients and all that we do. I always want to focus on how to make my patients’ experience better.
Somehow, throughout all the focus on providing the best care possible for my patients, I manage to have time with my family. When I am not at the practice, you will find me carousing with kids, Maya and Noah. Once in awhile, I even get some time with my wife, Tali. We have been married since 2001. I find some time to exercise every day, enjoy athletics whenever possible, watch movies to keep my imagination going, and love history as well.
I started by talking about my career goal, and I will end with my goal in life. That’s simply enjoying carefree time with my family. I have enjoyed the benefit of knowing the meaning of life for many years now. That’s love, in all aspects of life that matter.
