Learning to practice Reiki is a transformative experience that empowers individuals to take an active role in managing their own health through daily self-care treatments. Reiki classes teach students how to practice Reiki for self-care to support healthy, lifestyle changes; to manage chronic conditions and illnesses; and as an intervention and treatment for others.
Reiki is a spiritual practice that helps people feel better through a gentle, light touch. Reiki helps the body to heal itself by influencing the system towards balance, which optimizes the body’s own self-healing mechanisms. Reiki treatments have been known to reduce side-effects from conventional treatments such as chemotherapy; relieves pain from injury, surgery or illness; reduces stress and anxiety; stabilizes blood pressure; and improves sleep, heart rate and digestion.
Reiki beginners, practitioners, and licensed health care professionals are invited to learn, share and grow together. The beauty of Reiki lies in its simplicity; the system is effortless and easy to learn. Prior hands-on healing experience is not required and people of all ages including children can learn to practice Reiki.
