The Help Desk Support Technician is usually the first line of support provided to computer users within an organization. They need to have a large skill set that falls within Information Technology, Customer Service, Systems Analysis, and Project Management. Help Desk Support Technicians can be found in virtually any industry. There are three certifications available in this area: 1. Help Desk Associate 2. Senior Help Desk Technician 3. Master Help Desk Administrator Certifications are valid for three years, after which the applicant will need to recertify through experience and continuing education.
