Veneers and Lumineers are an excellent way to redesign and reshape your entire mouth. Veneers are a very thin ceramic shell that covers your existing tooth structure. In placing these new veneers on your teeth, you are able to rejuvinate your smile which might have issues such as staining, chipping, open spaces, poor alignment and many other issues. The process takes two easy visits to create to bring our your beautiful smile. The first visit will allow the dentist to obtain a presicison mold of your teeth and a shade for your new smile will be selected. On your second visit, the newly designed and constructed restorations will be checked for fit and color and bonded into place. The difference between Veneers and Lumineers is the amount of necessary tooth preparation performed to achieve optimal esthetic results. With Lumineers, there often is no need for shots due to minimal drilling necessary. The doctor can often perform these procedures if there are few existing restorations and space allows for their placement. Lumineers are an excellent alternative to conventional veneers. In either case, both Veneers and Lumineers provide some of the most esthetic smile makeovers so that you can enjoy your new smile for a very long time!
