Why and Who is US Mart in Venice Florida

Well the first thing everyone asks is why are you doing this? I pretty much just have to answer, why not?
Another is who am I and what does Dr. Molly have to do with the United States? I'm an American citizen and I believe in this country. I believe in the power of one. If each person doesn't stand up and try to do the best that they can do every day, we run the danger of losing our way. I'm a full time veterinarian, a faithful wife and a loving mother of two. I live the American dream and I am ecstatically happy that I am able to live here in the United States of America. I believe in pay it forward. So do I think this country is going in the right direction? Not always but everyone has to try their best and independence is one of the things that makes America special. US Mart is not necessarily supposed to be a political statement though it can be if you want it to be. It can be about ethics, it can be about safety, it can be about environment, it can be about keeping jobs in United States, I don't give a damn which one of those reasons speaks to you. It is more of a representation of the faith in this country. I may not be in the military dying for America but I say bless those who do. I'm a consumer who can make choices and I can shop. Every day I am willing to buy for my country! I cry every time I hear the Star-Spangled Banner. I respect when men take their hats off inside buildings. I stand up whenever the flag goes by in a parade. I believe in holding doors open for people and smiling when you pass strangers in the street. I believe in respecting elders. In crowded room, I believe in offering my seat to somebody else. I believe in putting the dang cell phone down and having a conversation with people face-to-face. I keep my word and I'm accountable for my actions. Do I think I'm perfect? Hell no but if I don't try my hardest, I'll have regrets for the rest of my life. I choose to live here in the United States and I choose to try to make a difference. I love this place!
A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.
His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready. As he maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window.
'I love it,' he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
'Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait.'
'That doesn't have anything to do with it,' he replied.
'Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged . . . it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day.'
Have a great day, and I already know I like you since you read this to the very end. Sincerely, Dr. Molly, veterinarian and owner of Venice Pines Veterinary Clinic and supporter and owner of US Mart, all products Made in America! Venice, FL
