Refractive Lens Exchange
Grin Eye Care
If you suffer from high hyperopia (farsightedness) or presbyopia (difficulty focusing close up, which is most commonly a result of aging), refractive lens exchange (RLE) could be an excellent option to correct your vision. This procedure involves using an IOL to replace your natural lens so you can see properly. We recommend RLE when phakic IOLs, LASIK, or photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) are not suitable for your condition. For example, phakic IOLs can usually only correct nearsightedness. The RLE procedure typically takes about 15 minutes per eye.
