Before We Arrive: There is very little you need to do before Plaza Carpet Cleaning arrives for the carpet cleaning process. All you have to do is to remove any fragile or valuable items from the rooms that will be cleaned. Our professional staff will take care of cleaning around or moving furniture and other items when we arrive.
When We Arrive: The first thing we do is conduct a thorough pre-inspection of the entire job before beginning the cleaning process. After we've inspected the areas to be cleaned, we will then discuss the results with you. We'll offer suggestions regarding what needs to be done and the desired outcome. We'll also talk about the process itself and what results you can expect from the process. If you have questions, we'll be glad to answer them. The carpet cleaning process is generally completed as followed: We carefully move furniture in the rooms (except very large items, such as pianos, China cabinets, entertainment armoires, couches, etc.). If you wish, we can make arrangements for the moving of heavy objects for an additional fee. We pre-treat any areas of concern to ensure a most thorough cleaning. We spray apply our Emulsifier-Powered Deodorizer. This aids in the removal of grease, dirt, and grime. We perform a Hot, Soft Water rinse to thoroughly remove cleaning residue. Optional: Apply Scotchgard Protector to your carpeting for longer lasting results. Additional fee applies. We return furniture to its original location, placing protective pads underneath. Upon completion of all cleaning of rooms and upholstery furniture, we will complete a final inspection with you to ensure that you are 100% satisfied. You don't have to worry about a thing when you call Plaza Carpet Cleaning. We take care of it so you don't have to. When the job is done: During the carpet cleaning process the truck-mounted equipment immediately removes most of the moisture from your floors and upholstery. However, your carpet and upholstery may still be damp to the touch for a little while after the cleaning. Here are some tips after we leave: Using fans in any room cleaned and turning on your air conditioning will help improve the drying time. Be sure to leave the protective pads under the furniture legs until the carpet is dry. You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning, but avoid wearing dirty shoes, as they may soil your freshly cleaned carpet. Be especially careful when walking from damp, carpet areas onto the non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping.
