SGHM is the bearingless magnetic incremental encoder designed with a rugged frame for installation in NEMA 4.5" C-Face flange motors and a variety of rotating shafts in typically harsh environments and heavy-duty applications. It is mounted between the motor and the gearbox and is fitted with a frame as sturdy as to cantilever the motor and support its weight. The assembly is engineered to ensure simple yet secure installation. A range of shaft diameters with key are available for the rotor to meet specific requirements. The magnetic sensor and the conversion electronics are fully resin-encapsulated inside the stator, thus this measuring system provides high IP68/IP69K protection to withstand the most severe conditions and dirt, liquids, oil, grease. Because there are no bearings, wearing parts, contacts, frictions, mechanical stresses, shocks and vibration impacts it offers virtually wear & maintenance-free operation, great reliability and longer operating life. SGHM produces differential quadrature signals with Reference, common output circuits (Push-Pull, Line Driver ...) are available for choice. Typical resolution is 4096 PPR, other custom resolutions can be ordered on request.
