When the national Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) recently surveyed more than 1,000 office workers 82% said being organized would improve their performance significantly for example;
• Reducing wasted time by 47%
• Missing fewer deadlines by 14%
• Being late for meetings 16% less often.
Still, 32% of respondents admitted to keeping a messy workspace, and 42% said they tidy up their clutter only once a month or less.
A well organized office whether it is a cubicle, corner office or a suite can run more efficiently, generate greater productivity and profits, and make for a happier you and happier workers. For a small business to blossom, its owner and employees must have a strong understanding of what smooth operations can yield while keeping more than a semblance of order.
