When an individual or their family is no longer able to provide the necessary care and assistance that the individual needs, the individual may have to go to a nursing home. In the event that the individual needs this level of medical care and individual has limited options as to how to pay for the care. Medicare will only pay for up to the first 100 days of care. After it runs out, you will either have to pay out of pocket, have long term care insurance coverage, be eligible for VA Benefits, or apply for Medicaid. Our attorney is experienced with meeting with our clients, listening to their questions and concerns, and coming up with a course of action that allow the individual to receive the care that they need while preserving as many of their assets as possible.
