Vaccinations are an integral part of your pet's preventive health care plan. Your pet is unique; that's why we create vaccine protocols that are individualized for each pet. Vaccine protocols are based on your pet's lifestyle, risk factors (local disease exposure, etc.) and state and local travel regulations.
Puppy Vaccine Protocol
One year after completing the full puppy vaccine series, we recommend three-year vaccinations of rabies and DHPP. We vaccinate for leptospira, bordetella (the most common cause of kennel cough), and borellia (Lyme disease, which is carried by some ticks) annually as needed for dogs, depending on their personal risk assessment.
Kitten Vaccine Protocol
One year after completing the full kitten vaccine series, we recommend three-year vaccinations of FVRCP and rabies. FeLV is recommended annually as needed for cats, depending on their personal risk assessment.
If you have further questions about what sort of vaccination protocol is right for your pet, please ask a staff member or veterinarian.
