Dr. Kaplan concentrates / specializes in crisis intervention, chronic and terminal illness, bereavement, and infertility with individuals, couples, and families. He leads support groups for senior citizens, victims of tragedies and auto accidents, and has counseled survivors and grieving families from the September 11th terrorist attacks in New York City. He has taught and coached graduate students and clergy for hospital and mental health chaplains, and currently serves as the Rabbinic Chaplain at three assisted living facilities in Metrowest New Jersey.
