Cindy Shaoul is a Hungarian/Persian artist from New York. She lived in Israel studying culture and science, later moving to Hungary to attend the Budai Art Institute. In 2009, she returned to NYC to study at the Art Students League, where she worked under Joseph Peller, Gregg Kreutz, and Tom Torak.
Cindy comes from a lineage of artists. She is the granddaughter of Albert Senior Nemethy, a world-renowned Hungarian artist. His paintings can be found in the white house, the Kremlin in Russia, and museums in the U.S. and Hungary.
In 2010 she began collaborating with Angel Ortiz who previously worked with Keith Haring up until his death in 1990. Angel and Cindy have a collection of works that have been exhibited in Europe.
