Use of crowns is a highly reliable technique for repairing the most severe dental problems, even permanently replacing missing teeth to offer a complete smile and a functional bite. These treatments are used for a long-lasting correction of major dental problems. When needed, your dentist will discuss the use of crowns in your overall treatment plan. Many times the use of a crown or crowns will be combined with placement of implants and/or to support bridgework. In some cases your dentist will use a Cerec crown which is designed and fabricated in our office requiring only one office visit. In other cases, your dentist may choose to design your crown then send it to an accredited lab for fabrication.
