Family therapy has the widest variety of setups. Therapy with children requires the involvement of at least one parent, but sessions may include multiple family members. Sessions with multiple family members often focus on improving communication and effective problem-solving. Parents, children and teens will also have some individual time, to help each of them develop and strengthen their ability to manage stress.
