Granite is a very hard, granular, crystalline, igneous rock consisting mainly of quartz, mica, and feldspar and often used as a building stone.

Marble is a non-foliated metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite

Quartz is a hard white or colorless mineral consisting of silicon dioxide, found widely in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. It is often colored by impurities (as in amethyst, citrine, and cairngorm).

Onyx is occasionally used to described any engraved stone with a solid color base, or it may describe any banded gemstone with parallel banding

Soapstone also known as steatite, or soaprock is a talc-schist., which is a type of metamorphic rock. It is largely composed of the mineral talc and is thus rich in magnesium.

Quartzite is a naturally occurring metamorphic rock. It is created when sandstone is subjected to extreme heat and pressure caused by tectonic plate compression in the crust of the earth. The stone is mined and sawn into slabs which are later precisely cut to become countertops.

Travertine is a type of limestone that has had additional heat and pressure applied to it by the earth's crust. It is formed by minerals dissolved in ground water, which are then deposited on the earth's surface by rivers, natural springs, or geysers

Semi Precious:
Semi precious is denoting minerals that can be used as gems but are considered to be less valuable than precious stones

Porcelain is a ceramic material made by heating materials, generally including kaolin, in a kiln to temperatures between 1,200 and 1,400 °C The toughness, strength and translucence of porcelain, relative to other types of pottery, arises mainly from vitrification and the formation of the mineral mullite within the body at these high temperatures.
