Orthopedic manual therapy is a clinical approach to patient care that involves specific hands-on techniques. The result of manual therapy in certain musculoskeletal conditions is reduced pain, increased joint mobility and range of motion. It is often prescribed for chronic back pain involving joint problems, such as sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and soft tissue injuries, such as strains. 95% of our patients receive manual/mobilization techniques as part of a 'hands on' approach to optimize patient care and their eventual overall outcomes. Manual therapy techniques are often incorporated in a patient's treatment plan in an effort to maximize optimum physical function of joints within the spine and extremities as well as their surrounding muscles, nerves, blood vessels and other soft tissue structures. Physicians know that advanced training in fields of medicine mean better results for patients. That's why physicians value the fact that our company has more advanced certified therapists than any other physical therapy practice in the region - including advanced certification in manual therapy.
