Passed down through the generations, Lacey Livestock, Inc. was founded by local cattle rancher, Steve Maddalena, and is a branch of the original Maddalena Ranch, also located in Sierraville. We are currently owned by Lacey Maddalena. Though she calls California her home, she currently resides in Texas and runs the ranch from there. Lacey is also a published writer and the author of the blog "A Roper Girl's Journey". The commercial cattle business is run in the meadows of Sierraville by Tony and Cindy Maddalena, along with Todd and Julie York. Located in the beautiful Sierra Valley, Lacey Livestock, Inc. has been in operation since the early 90's. For decades, we have been providing area consumers with cattle that has all the attributes to be converted into high-quality beef. In addition to offering some of the best beef in the area, Lacey Livestock, Inc. also owns an equestrian facility consisting of a rodeo arena, cook shack, campground, banquet area, and even a dance floor! The equestrian facility is leased out to the Sierra Valley Roping Club, which hosts team ropings and rodeo events throughout the year.Well-fed animals are not only much happier, they also provide better meat and animal-based products.
