The Nicholson Clinic for Weight Loss Surgery’s founder talks about the new addition to the team.
Plano, TX, Oct 13, 2015 – The Nicholson Clinic for Weight Loss Surgery is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Julie Kilgore to its medical team.
“Dr. Kilgore’s passion for helping others and extensive bariatric background make her a tremendous addition to the Nicholson Clinic family,” says Dr. Nick Nicholson, founder and lead surgeon at the North Texas-based Nicholson Clinic, one of the top weight loss surgery centers in the country. “She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is also a member of the prestigious American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. While her extensive training and knowledge are tremendous assets, patients are going to especially appreciate her compassion and the individualized approachshe takes when providing care.”
Dr. Kilgore graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard Payne University and went onto the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Holding true to her deep Texas roots, she chose to complete her residency at Texas A&M University at Scott & White. She completed her fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Highly qualified in such procedures as sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, lap band and revisional bariatric surgery, Dr. Kilgore insists that each patient deserves a tailored approach to help them attain their weight-loss goals.
“My goal with every patient is to help them transform into healthier, happier, thinner and more attractive versions of themselves,” says Dr. Kilgore. “Weight loss surgery is just a tool to that end.”
