We have been family owned and operated since 1920, serving up traditional, fresh & local Rhode Island seafood. We're home of the Rhode Island Shore Dinner and legend has it Aunt Carrie herself invented the clam cake! Our famous homemade pies and breads are baked daily! Recently we opened Aunt Carrie's Ice Cream Shoppe, directly located across the street, which offers up our outrageous signature sundaes such as 'The Dirty Fisherman' and 'The Block Island Sunrise', as well as our delicious Pie Frappes. Honored as Rhode Island's first "American Classic" by James Beard Society; South County's Starlight Award; featured on Phantom Gourmet; Diner, dives and drive-in's with Guy; Taste of America; Yankee Magazine's Editors Pick, Coastal Living Magazine, Boston Globe, NY Times Weekender. Families for generations have made us part of their summer tradition. From our clam cakes and chowder to our full Rhode Island Shore Dinner, to our homemade desserts and breads we have become a favorite all over New England. Children's dinners are a plus with families and our Ice Cream and Gift Shoppe have made it a fun place to stop any time. seafood, clam cakes, chowder, lobster, steamers, fresh fish, local seafood, fish & chips, shore dinners, dining room, picnic tables, take-out, homemade pies, beach, ocean, ice cream shop, Del's lemonade, gift shop, salt water taffy, postcards, beer & wine
