He currently serves as the Program Director for the Weill Cornell Neuroradiology Fellowship program and is the Medical Director of the Citigroup Biomedical Imaging Center.Dr. Gupta earned his B.A. in 2001 from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with Highest Honors. He was awarded his M.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland in 2005 and was inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society upon graduation.Dr. Gupta did his internship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY before completing a Diagnostic Radiology residency (2006-2010) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He then completed Fellowship training in Neuroradiology at NewYork-Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and was recruited to join the Weill Cornell Medical College faculty in July 2011.Dr. Gupta interprets imaging studies of the brain, spine, and head & neck and performs neuro-interventional procedures such as image-guided lumbar punctures and myelography.
