  Prisma Health Greenville Midwifery Care is a practice of certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) that offers full-scope midwifery services to our patients as well as providing primary care for women across their lifespan. Midwives care for women from adolescence through menopause, with a special emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, gynecologic care and reproductive health.

  Brittany Hall, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina. She has been fascinated by pregnancy and birth for as long as she can remember, and she loves taking care of women during the most intimate times in their lives. Brittany strives to help them feel empowered in their decision-making, while working together as a team. When she's not catching babies, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter and supporting her first alma mater, Clemson University. She considers it her calling to be a midwife and a privilege to care for each woman and family she encounters.

  Susan Cheek-Williams, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina. She joined Prisma Health in 1998 and worked as a staff nurse in labor and delivery until 2011, when she began practicing as a certified nurse midwife. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2009 with a master's degree in nursing and in 2012 with a doctorate in nursing practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Cheek-Williams has a special interest in education and anticipatory guidance during pregnancy. She believes that women who are better prepared for pregnancy and birth have less fear of the normal process and therefore have more satisfying birth experiences. She spends her free time with her husband, Josh, trying to keep up with their young son.
