The Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel is located in one of the most cosmopolitan and diverse cities in which to live and learn.
As part of the Mount Sinai Health System, our students have the opportunity to participate in a range of extracurricular activities and training programs to enhance their educational experience. We offer a progressive curricula, led by an exceptional faculty, which includes classroom teaching and clinical practice in both inpatient and community settings. Our two nursing programs are delivered in a blended format to provide adult learners with the flexibility they need to succeed:
The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (ABSN)-open to prospective students with a bachelor's degree in another field. This 15-month program is completed in four semesters and prepares graduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) to obtain licensure.
The RN-BSN program (RN-BSN)-open to registered nurses with an associate's degree in nursing. This program increases general knowledge in the physical and social sciences, and prepares graduates for leadership positions and the ability to practice in a wide range of specialties.
